Target Audience:
The target audience would be Female Teenagers to Female Older Millennials. They would want to exercise, but not do it by themselves. They are always together with someone whether it’s walking, running, or working out in the gym. This social media platform encourages them to work out with their friends because sometimes that’s all the motivation you need to keep on going.
Strengths:
Engaging daily usage (consistent tracking that allows users to keep wanting to come back)
Social motivation (with social interactions, it allows users to feel supported)
Easy to be fun and personal (badges, streaks, group challenges, and progress bars)
Positive, Improvement Focus (Wellness and personal growth apps have a string market)
Weaknesses:
Risks of Low Usage (Users may lose motivation and stop using the app as consistently)
Overwhelming for new users (can look cluttered depending on how many updates it has)
Requires strong community mods (Yes you can have friends and only talk to them, but you have the open to join groups that are online)
Privacy concerns (Users may feel hesitant to share their personal goals
Opportunities:
Make the start of the app simple for new users to understand
Have check ins for when people are not using the app
Have the opportunity to hide your goals if you aren’t friends with them
Sync with Apple Watch, other smartwatches, etc.
Create habit programs and we can collaborate with Influencers
Hosting global monthly challenges to keep users active
Have easy to read Terms and Conditions, so users know what the app entails
Threats:
Other apps (Habitca, Strides, and Fabulous)
User burnout and habit fatigue
Privacy breaches
Other apps replicating features such as TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook
